Meeting Minutes
o
Video
Shoot on Tuesday 11/10/09 during Organic Cafe
o
Students
looking for more chicken in the Resident program. We came up with a fun
"Where's the Chicken Today?" idea to market and advertise to students
where they can find chicken on a daily basis. Some signage and/or a cute logo
for each location-salad bar, grill, pasta station, line, etc...
o
They
would like to see chicken salad more often at the salad bar
o
An
extension of the lunch hours in Resident-
o
the
belief is that an extension of 10-15mins would give more people getting out of
classes a chance to get to lunch
o
Looking
for Theme Nights.
o
Some
students remember last year when Resident did a special every Monday night. Are
we still doing that?
o
Resident Dining -
looking for more Monday night "theme" night meals or appetizers
o
Dispensers
in the Dining Hall are being filled with the wrong items
o
Watch
staff on making sure label matches product.
o
New
Toasters:
o
Signage
for new toasters stating that while they may take a little longer, the old
toasters were replaced in order to be more energy efficient and environmentally
conscious
o
Is it possible to
get some data to determine how much more efficient these machines are and
include that on the poster
o
More
of the traditional soups need to be delivered to Donnelly
o
Student
Government will be conducting Town Hall Meetings and we threw out the idea to
have one regarding Dining Services
o
Bag meals for
athletes traveling to games on the weekends. Need to make coaches aware that
they can make arrangements for this. Main concern seemed to be breakfast
o
"NEED
SOMETHING?, SAY SOMETHING!" Campaign (See a manager or the cashier).
o
A lot of students
it seems don't speak up when they don't find what they need, something is out,
etc... Signage and posters to bring this to the forefront-napkin holder
inserts.
o
Ice
Cream Station:
o
The
other issue that came up was the ice cream station and different flavors and
mix ins for Wednesdays.
o
Where
are we with the naming of the station and the contest for the students to pick
their favorite flavor combos?
