Marist Dining Services offers a dining program to meet your individual needs based on your schedule of classes, sports, clubs and community service. Our goal is to make sure that you won't have to worry about finding something great to eat when you want it. Check out the many exciting opportunities you have with your dining plan in this website.
Dining Enhancements 07'-08'
- Beat the crowds & dine later!
The Main Dining Hall extended dinner hours. We are now open untill 8:00 pm Monday thru Thursday during the week.
- BRAND NEW! Nutritional Information NOW available on the Weekly Menu Online.
- There will be a manager on duty at all times in the Main Dining Hall. Look for the wall of manager photos by the front register, when you need to know who is on duty. Managers will be very accessable.
- The Cabaret has Eggs to Go all day!
- Check out The Donnelly Cafe for the latest enhanced look & great offers.
We Support the Local Community
- During our November celebration of Cans Across America, we collected 142lbs
of food donated by students, staff and faculty which was then donated to the Lunchbox in Poughkeepsie
- Every Monday thru Thursday Marist Dining Services donates dinner to 30 people of the Hillcrest House, a facility for formerly homeless adults in transition.
- Marist Dining cooked & served Thanksgiving Lunch for the Lunchbox in Poughkeepsie in November for 200 people, an annual tradition.
- We served a holiday meal in December for the Grace Smith House (Battered Women's Shelter) for 30 women & children.
- On Christmas morning in conjunction with Holiday Helping Hands of Dutchess County which is run & founded by Dan Hickey, food was produced in our kitchen that morning to feed participants in 9 local shelters in the county. Helping Hands celebrated their 25th Anniversary this year in the use of our kitchen facilities as a commissary.

The concessions at the Tenney Stadium & McCann Recreation Center take thrifty cash & marist money.
The New GRAB-N-GO!
Students on the Platinum, Gold & Silver Dining Plans have
TEN opportunities per semester to use our NEW Grab-N-Go Meals in the Main Dining Hall. For lunch, enjoy choice of salad, soup or sandwich with a beverage to take with you. For dinner you can request a "to go" container from the cashierfor your dinner selection.
Recycling and Sustainability
We are now composting all food and paper in the Main Dining Hall! Thank you for your cooperation.
By composting we eliminate a significant source of air polution :
- In Dutchess County, NY everything that is not recycled is incinerated. Food waste requires a lot of energy to incinerate because it is 95% water.
- Each ton of food waste we recover saves over two tons of carbon dioxide
